Jupiter’s Strategic Move: Jupiter Acquires SolanaFM and Coinhall

Blockchain explorer SolanaFM has been bought by decentralized exchange aggregator Jupiter, according to a statement made by co-founder Siong Ong on Friday at the Solana Breakpoint event in Singapore.

SolanaFM’s indexer and explorer tools let people access and interact with Solana data. On the Cosmos and Solana blockchains, Coinhall is an on-chain trading terminal that facilitates swaps between decentralized exchanges. Over 225,000 people use Coinhall across 23 chains, according to Ong.

Jupiter Mobile with Apple and Google Pay Integration Set to Revolutionize Crypto Payments

Other important enhancements for Jupiter, including Jupiter Mobile—a mobile app developed with MoonPay that customers can access via Apple or Google Pay with no platform fees—were also revealed by Ong at the event on Friday. These updates are scheduled to launch in the upcoming weeks.

Ape.Pro, an upgrade to its memecoin trading platform Ape, is scheduled to launch soon. Users will be able to create and exchange meme coins on mobile devices using Ape.Pro by using social logins. In order to give developers more thorough liquidity APIs across token, pricing, and swap APIs, Jupiter is also introducing its own API platform, Metropolis.
