Crypto News – Joshua Bankman and Barbara Fried were sued by FTX for allegedly stealing millions of dollars, including $5.5 million in donations meant for Stanford University. According to Bloomberg‘s news, Stanford University stated that it intended to return the “gifts” worth millions of dollars that it received from the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

Professors at Stanford Law School include Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried. A lawsuit against Bankman and Fried for stealing millions of dollars, including $5.5 million in gifts to Stanford University, was filed on Monday by the FTX Group.

According to Fried and Bankman, the Accusations are Unrealistic
The petition claimed that Fried and Bankman pushed for tens of millions of dollars to be donated to political and charity causes, including Stanford University, “which seemed designed to boost Fried and Bankman’s professional and social status at the expense of the FTX Group.”

All charges have been refuted by the parents, who have called them all untrue. The creator and former CEO of the defunct FTX, their son Sam Bankman-Fried, is currently incarcerated and getting ready for his trial next month.
