Crypto News – Google, a massive tech company, has included Ethereum Name Service (ENS) data from Etherscan in its search results.
Google Ethereum Name Service: ENS Data to be Included in Search Results via Etherscan
By testing it with multiple ENS addresses, including Vitalik.eth, the address of Ethereum blockchain network co-founder Vitalik Buterin, CryptoSlate was able to verify this feature.
The address information, including the Ethereum balance and the most recent transaction timestamp, was displayed in the result. Etherscan, an Ethereum block explorer, provided the data.
Google’s Interest in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency is Growing
On social networking site X, the development was initially disclosed by former ENS team core member Brantly Millegan. This action highlights Google‘s expanding interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Google included “Cryptocurrency Coin Trusts” in its updated crypto advertising policy last year. Investors can exchange shares in trusts that hold digital assets due to these instruments. As a result, when people search for “bitcoin ETF,” Bitcoin ETF products from reputable asset managers like BlackRock suddenly show up.
