In a significant development, the exchange is gearing up to strengthen its presence in the country by doubling its workforce at the Gurgaon office over the next two years, increasing it from the current 70 employees to more than 150.

Gemini India’s expansion strategy builds upon the foundation laid with the establishment of its Gurgaon technology development center in May. Now, the company has taken a bold step by inaugurating its new office located in the cutting-edge Cyber Hub at Campus Cyber Greens, renowned for its role in crypto and technology innovation.

Gemini India Plans to Double Its Workforce from 70 to 150 Over the Next 2 Years

With a team of already over 70 top-tier professionals operating in Gurgaon, Gemini is ready to make substantial investments in India. They have earmarked a substantial investment of INR 200 crore (equivalent to $24 million) for expanding their development center in Gurgaon over the next couple of years.

Gemini’s Gurgaon office is poised to become the central hub for experts specializing in engineering, design, and operations teams. These teams will be instrumental in creating cutting-edge products and services for customers across more than 70 countries worldwide. Additionally, the teams based in Gurgaon will play a pivotal role in crucial platform functions, including compliance, data pipelines, warehousing, security, and payments, complementing Gemini’s robust global workforce, which exceeds 500 employees.

This strategic expansion underscores Gemini’s unwavering commitment to tap into India’s flourishing pool of tech talent and recognize the country’s increasing prominence in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
