Friend.Tech User Vombatus Surprised With His Transaction Regarding a Key Worth 1.5 Million Dollars
Data from the wallet of @Vombatus_eth, a user of X who also goes by the same name on Friend.Tech, reveals that after selling 176 keys, he made over $1.5 million. One of the platform’s largest key holders, Vombatus, still has 150 keys in his possession.
After its August launch, Friend.Tech, which allows X individuals to issue “keys” via its app for access to a private group chat, was one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency services. After going live, it generated millions of dollars in income from more than 100,000 users in less than three weeks, inspiring imitations on other networks.
New Bitcoin City has seen Dramatic Growth
FriendTech’s first growth wave has been slowed by other prospects, and applications like New Bitcoin City are swiftly becoming one of the most promising investments. On Monday, the site passed the $3 million locked value mark due to users like Vombatus who are bringing in new users.
After going live as a Bitcoin gaming and arcade platform in early August, New Bitcoin City introduced its social application in late September, aiming to capture the social application industry. The use of Bitcoin in DeFi applications has, up until now, only been possible through tokenized representations of the currency on other chains, such as Ethereum or Solana, according to developer @punk3700. However, the New Bitcoin City believes there is still room for wealthy Bitcoin owners to use their holdings on interactive applications.
