Crypto News – According to an official release on December 19, the Appellate Court of Montenegro ordered on December 14 to invalidate the judgment of the High Court of Podgorica approving Kwon’s extradition to either South Korea or the United States.

The legal prerequisites for Kwon’s extradition were previously established by the High Court of Podgorica in November 2023, with the minister of justice of Montenegro having the last say over Do Kwon‘s extradition. Kwon’s defence has successfully appealed that ruling, according to the most recent ruling by the appeals court, and the matter ought to be sent back to the Podgorica Basic Court for a new trial.
