Ethereum Panic Sales: ETH Drops to 3-Year Low Against Bitcoin
On Saturday, April 13, the ETH-BTC chart fell as low as 0.0462 BTC, a 24% decrease from the peak of 0.085 BTC for the year.
When compared to Bitcoin, Ethereum reached its highest point in 2017 at 0.16 BTC, and it ended the year at 0.048 BTC, which is about where it is now. Since then, it has seen lows of about 0.018 BTC in late 2019 and high rises throughout the bull market of 2020–2021.
Ethereum is Among Those Falling Over the Weekend
Even though Ethereum is still below the 0.05 BTC support level, it has rebounded about 7% from its weekend lows and it has remained largely stable despite Bitcoin’s ongoing difficulties. Throughout the weekend, bitcoin dropped from $70,000 to $61,700 before rising to $66,000. Ethereum helped Bitcoin in its price war by initially following it down from $3,600 to $2,800. Since then, it has stabilized around the $3,000 mark.
