Did Execs Leave Because of CZ’s Statements?
As previously reported by Fortune, senior leadership positions held by prominent individuals such as Chief Strategy Officer Patrick Hillmann, Senior Director of Investigations Matthew Price, and SVP for Compliance Steven Christie have left the company as a result of CZ’s response to a U.S. Department of Justice investigation that is still ongoing.
Departing Executives Made a Statement
Hillman wrote on Twitter that he was departing from the company amicably and that it was time to take on the next challenge.
Christie stated that it’s time for him to take some time for himself and his family and that he has nothing but respect for the incredibly brilliant employees at Binance who are committed to acting morally.
