Six months ago, YouTuber Logan Paul faced allegations that he scammed people with an NFT game project called Crypto Zoo, which was announced in 2021. In addition to selling NFTs, Paul and his team distributed a token called ZOO. However, the game was never released.
Crypto Zoo Victims Still Haven’t Received Refunds from YouTuber Logan Paul – 2023
Paul made a video outlining his three-step strategy to put things right on January 13 after receiving criticism from YouTube researchers like Coffeezilla.
A class action complaint claiming that Paul and his crew deceived and “rug-pulled” Crypto Zoo purchasers were filed against the influencer a month later.
Starting Point of Events
Logan Paul, a YouTuber, boxer, and forest enthusiast, started promoting the game Crypto Zoo in August 2021 on his podcast Impaulsive. In the blockchain-based game Crypto Zoo, users can buy an egg that will hatch into an animal that they can then breed with other in-game animals by spending in-game cryptocurrency.
Since then, players have allegedly used Crypto Zoo to spend and lose tens of thousands of dollars. Investors and Logan Paul fans claim that there was no way to pay out and no method to hatch the eggs at all in a YouTube video series by Coffeezilla, who is actually Stephen Findeisen and who is documenting the blunder.
In the wake of mounting public pressure following Coffeezilla’s three-part series, which has been viewed millions of times, Paul first posted a reaction video that he claimed would refute Coffeezilla’s claims. However, he removed it two days later.
You’ve successfully used my name for views and money… You can definitely hatch and even breed your animals,
Paul
Logan Paul Claims He Was Deceived
In an effort to disprove Findeisen’s claims, Paul asserted that he had been duped by a criminal while working on Crypto Zoo. Zach Kelling, who created the game’s code and fled with it to Switzerland while holding it hostage for $1 million, was recognized by Paul as the culprit. Paul mentions Kelling’s criminal history in his defense, but he leaves out the fact that Kelling was willingly hired to work on the project while describing Kelling’s past with numerous convictions.
Did Logan Paul Deliver What He Promised in January?
According to Coffeezilla, the answer to this question is, of course, a big no. In January, Coffeezilla tweeted that he had spoken to Paul. Saying that he hoped Paul would take responsibility, the researcher complained that by June, he still hadn’t seen any action.
I have spoken to the victims and have been following their public chat on Discord throughout the year. The last time Logan contacted them was in January. I have also contacted Logan several times asking about this. According to the victims, there has been no payment. There is no excuse for this. Logan made a public statement about it, took credit for it, and has ignored the victims,

Coffeezilla, who also tweeted about this issue, maybe the most active person defending the rights of Crypto Zoo victims.
