Crypto News– Tech giant Google has made a significant announcement regarding its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, Bard, which has now been officially rebranded as Gemini. This change accompanies the launch of a mobile app in the United States.
The AI chatbot Bard by Google has been rebranded and is now known as Gemini
Sissie Hsiao, the vice president and general manager for Google Assistant and Bard, revealed on Feb. 8 that the company’s 11-month-old AI chatbot now shares its name with the multimodal large language model developed by Google.
Gemini serves as the representation of Google’s most advanced large language AI model, known as Ultra 1.0. Google claims that this AI is exceptionally proficient in handling highly complex tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions, and collaborating on creative projects.
According to a company blog post, the premium version of the chatbot, Gemini Advanced, facilitates longer and more detailed conversations while demonstrating a better understanding of context from previous interactions. It is capable of serving as a personal tutor, assisting with advanced coding, and aiding in brainstorming creative projects.
Gemini Advanced is accessible through the new Google One AI Premium subscription priced at $20 per month, with plans for integration into various Google services including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides in the near future.
