Crypto News– The global cryptocurrency market capitalization has seen minimal change in the past 24 hours, increasing by just 0.2% to $2.78 trillion.
Most tokens are in the red today. Bitget Token (BGB) leads the losses with a 5% drop to $1.22, followed by Kaspa (KAS) down 4.2% to $0.1722.
On the positive side, Brett (BRETT) is the top performer, surging 16.9% to $0.1618, followed by ORDI, up 12.4% to $63.2.
Three other coins – Wormhole, Injective, and JasmyCoin – have seen gains between 11.1% and 11.9%.
As for the top 10 coins by market cap, there’s a mixed performance today.
In the top coin category, four coins saw gains, three experienced losses, and one remained unchanged over the past day.
Dogecoin (DOGE) remained steady at $0.16178.
Ethereum (ETH) and Lido Staked Ether (STETH) both dropped 0.8% to $3,817, while Solana (SOL) decreased by 0.1% to $172.
Toncoin (TON) performed the best, rising 5.5% to $7.7.
BNB saw a 1% increase, while Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP saw gains of less than 0.5% each. BTC is currently trading at $71,261.
The recent rise in Bitcoin’s price is attributed to a significant influx of $886.75 million into US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) over the past two days, fueled by anticipation of a potential rate cut by the US Federal Reserve and a weakening US dollar, boosting investor confidence.
Blockchain.com and Unstoppable Team Up for ‘Web2-Web3 Crossover’ TLD Collaboration
Web3 domain names and digital identity provider Unstoppable Domains, alongside global crypto company Blockchain.com, have unveiled plans to establish one of the first DNS-enabled Web3 domains.
Their strategy involves submitting an application to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
As per a press release shared with Cryptonews, the partnership centers on the ‘.blockchain’ Web3 domain, slated for submission during ICANN’s anticipated six-year registration program next year.
Should the application succeed, the ‘ .blockchain’ domain will potentially join the league of renowned ICANN-registered generic top-level domains such as .com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info.
Described as possessing an all-encompassing, industry-specific nature, the domain is positioned to catalyze widespread adoption of blockchain-based businesses within the Web2 ecosystem, according to the partners.

Web3 gaming company Illuvium has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated interoperable game universe: July 25th.
The world will get its first look at the game through a trailer premiering today at 6 pm UTC.
After three and a half years of anticipation, the trailer promises to offer a glimpse into the game’s storyline. It will unveil aspects of the narrative that the studio has deliberately kept under wraps.
