Facebook announced the launch of Our Feed Our Future, a youth advisory network in partnership with Think Young, to help young people have their voices heard and shape the future.

Our Feed Our Future Announced by Facebook-2023

This network will consist of a group of young people aged 18-25 who will provide feedback to improve Facebook’s products, policies and community standards. The members of the network will have regular meetings with Facebook’s leaders in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and share their own experiences, opinions and suggestions.

Our Feed Our Future is part of Facebook’s effort to build a closer relationship with young people and better understand their needs. Facebook wants to offer products and services that enable young people to express themselves, learn, connect and take action. It also works to protect the safety and well-being of young people. Therefore, the youth advisory network will be a valuable resource to help Facebook serve young people better.

Facebook Partnering With Think Young

By partnering with Think Young, Facebook aims to ensure the diversity and participation of young people. Think Young, as Europe’s largest youth think tank, has expertise in bringing young people’s ideas to decision-makers. Think Young will work with Facebook to select and train the members of Our Feed Our Future. The members will include young people from different countries, cultures, genders, and interests.

Young people’s ideas are often ignored or not taken seriously enough. Yet young people are the most innovative and creative segment of society. That’s why we are proud to launch Our Feed Our Future in partnership with Facebook. Through this network, young people will have a real impact on Facebook’s products and policies. We want to empower young people and help them build the future.

When Is The First Meeting?

The first meeting of Our Feed Our Future will take place in June 2023. The members of the network will meet with Facebook’s leaders and give their first feedback. They will also share their own projects and initiatives. Our Feed Our Future will be an important step to strengthen Facebook’s dialogue with young people and meet their needs.
