Recently, the OKX Wallet and OKX DEX aggregator’s new USDC functionalities were launched by OKX and Circle Internet Financial. The features include the OKX DEX aggregator’s connection with Circle‘s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol and the ability for USDC transactions to occur without network fees.
OKX and Circle Join Forces for Seamless USDC Trading and Introduce a New Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol
From September 7 to October 5, 2023, the USDC Zero Network Fee Campaign will allow OKX Wallet’s Smart Account customers to transact with USDC devoid of network fees. The feature, which uses stablecoins like USDC to facilitate transactions across many blockchains, is driven by account abstraction technology. Through the built-in swap capability, users can also exchange USDC between other networks.
USDC Usage Across Chains
As a result of the OKX DEX aggregator’s integration with Circle’s CCTP, USDC can now flow naturally between blockchains, making it useful throughout the ecosystems of Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and the OP Mainnet. The OKX DEX aggregator is anticipated to support additional blockchains for USDC cross-chain capabilities as new CCTP routes become accessible.
