The protocol announced the debut of Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function) on Arbitrum One on Saturday, May 20.
Chainlink VRF is Now Available on Arbitrum One!
Chainlink Verifiable Random Function joined the Arbitrum One platform, according to the official news release. The launch will help Chainlink and Arbitrum by giving them access to novel decentralized applications (dApps) and developer-made smart contracts. It was also announced on Twitter that VRF is now live on One.
Developers will then have access to a well-known random number generator (RNG) as a result. On May 22, Chainlink and the Arbitrum Foundation will offer a VRF workshop.
About RNG
The most widely used RNG (random number generator) in the cryptocurrency market is still Chainlink VRF. It enables developers of smart contracts to create apps for gaming and NFT that are scalable, fair, and safe.
About Collaboration
As previously stated, the partnership is effective for all involved and benefits the Chainlink and Arbitrum communities. More than 6,300 smart contracts on different blockchains are provided with randomness via Chainlink Verifiable Random Functions.
High-end decentralized applications with smart contract features can be created with the assistance of the Arbitrum-Chainlink connection. In addition, the deployment of Chainlink Automation on Arbitrum One will automate essential smart contract functions without sacrificing decentralization.
