Pages displayed the terms of contracts for Solana futures, which were set at 500 SOL, and XRP futures, which were planned to have a size of 50,000 XRP per contract. James Seyffart, a Bloomberg ETF expert, swiftly concurred with his conclusions, speculating that the leak would indicate CME’s plans to increase its product offerings. Given regulatory precedents created by Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, Seyffart stressed the significance of CME listing XRP futures for any prospective XRP ETF clearance.

But CME addressed the rumors quickly. Eleanor Terrett of FOX Business contacted a CME representative, who explained that the beta site was an unintentionally publicized internal testing environment. The representatives said the changes were mock-ups.
