According to CoinGecko data, dog-themed coins, such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), have generated almost $24.2 billion in trading volume in the last 24 hours alone. Cat-themed coins, like Popcat (POPCAT), based in Solana, have generated $36.58 million in volume in the same period.

Still, certain tokens with animal themes have performed better than others. The memecoin dogwifhat (WIF), which has had a 545% increase over the previous month and has increased in value from $0.22 on February 4 to $1.43 at the time of publication, has been the best-performing dog token of the past month.
The Popcat (POPCAT) cryptocurrency, based in Solana, has gained nearly 1455% in the past 30 days, rising from a price of $0.006 on February 4 to $0.09828 at the time of publication. This makes it the best-performing cat coin.
