BTC Price Prediction: Could BTC Hit $140K by June?

BTC Price Prediction – Bitcoin (BTC) could face a critical test in the coming days, with analysts from CryptoQuant warning that the cryptocurrency may hover around the low $80,000s unless it breaks through a key resistance level near $84,000. According to their April 10 market report, if BTC successfully clears this barrier, it could rally toward the next resistance level of $96,000.

Former Support Turns to Resistance

CryptoQuant highlighted that several former support levels have now flipped into resistance zones, a pattern common during bearish corrections. “These price levels have acted as support during this bull cycle but can now act as resistance if bullish conditions don’t improve,” the firm noted.

As of the time of writing, BTC is trading at $79,474, down 3.5% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap. April has proven turbulent, with geopolitical developments impacting financial markets. A spike in global tariffs announced by U.S. President Donald Trump on April 2 initially triggered a pullback in risk assets. However, the 90-day pause on tariffs (excluding China) announced on April 9 helped crypto and equities rebound.

Market Rebounds After Tariff Pause

Following the tariff relief, Bitcoin surged nearly 9%, briefly reclaiming the $83,000 level. Traditional markets rallied in tandem: the S&P 500 rose 9.52%, marking its third-largest daily gain since World War II, while the Nasdaq 100 soared 12.02%.

Bullish Predictions Amid Mixed Signals

Despite recent price recovery, CryptoQuant’s Bull Score Index indicates that Bitcoin remains in one of its least bullish phases since November 2022, with just 1 out of 10 bull signals active—BTC trading above its 365-day moving average.

Still, market optimism lingers. Abra Global CEO Bill Barhydt forecasted that Bitcoin could hit $130,000–$140,000 by late June, citing the rapid expansion of global liquidity. Jamie Coutts, Chief Crypto Analyst at Real Vision, echoed similar sentiments, suggesting Bitcoin may surpass its $109,000 all-time high before Q2 ends.
