Crypto News – With its most recent price increase, Bitcoin’s market capitalization has surpassed that of silver, placing it as the eighth largest asset globally.

Based on CompaniesMarketCap data, silver has a market cap of only $1.3 trillion, but bitcoin has a market cap of $1.4 trillion. However, the cryptocurrency is still behind Alphabet, which has a market capitalization of $1.7 trillion. At $14.70 trillion, gold continues to be the asset with the biggest market cap worldwide.

According to CoinMarketCap, the price of Bitcoin grew by about 4.2% over the previous day and is currently trading at $72,313. Following yet another prosperous week for spot bitcoin ETFs, the price of bitcoin has increased. The cumulative net flow into spot bitcoin ETFs since January 11 is currently $9.59 billion, according to data from BitMEX Research.
