Crypto News – A forthcoming Aptos (APT) token unlock was announced by Token Unlocks, the top platform for learning about cryptocurrency tokenomics. The Aptos network will receive almost $143 million worth of APT, (approximately 10.89% of the total) APT circulating supply, according to a post on the tokenomics platform.
APT Tokens to be Unlocked on November 12
The event, which will take place on November 12, 2023, will provide investors, the Aptos Foundation, core contributors, and every member of the Aptos community a chance to profit, according to Token Unlocks. The allotment of tokens to the various stakeholder categories is shown in a screenshot of the unlock schedule provided by Token Unlocks.
Amount of Tokens to be Allocated
The amount of tokens to be distributed to whom and how much will be allocated is determined as follows:
- Aptos Investors – 8,423,915.00 APT
- Foundation of the Blockchain Network – 1,333,333.33 APT
- Core Contributors – 11,875,000.00 APT
- Aptos Community – 3,210,144.60 APT
On November 12th, the total number of tokens to be allocated was 24,842,392.93 APT.
17.54% of APT Tokens Unlocked
Only 175.43 million APTs have been unlocked to date, or 17.54% of the total APT tokens generated, according to information from the Token Unlock dashboard. So, 824.57 million APT, (roughly 82.46% of the total supply) are still available for release into the Aptos ecosystem. Through a preset token unlock procedure, similar to the one slated for November 12, the remaining tokens will be made available.
