The seed funding round for Xverse, a Bitcoin wallet that supports BRC-20 tokens and ordinals inscriptions, has raised $5 million.
A Bitcoin Wallet Xverse Successfully Completes Funding Round, Raising $5 Million
In accordance with Xverse, the round was led by Jump Crypto, with participation from Franklin Templeton, Sfermion, Alliance, NGC Ventures, and a number of additional investors. According to founder and CEO Ken Liao, the Hong Kong-based business began gathering money for the seed round a few months ago, and it only recently concluded. Regarding the round’s structure and valuation, he opted not to comment.
With the seed round, Xverse has already received $6 million in funding. When it was created in 2021, it received $1 million in pre-seed capital, according to Liao.

Since its inception, Xverse has served as a Bitcoin wallet. More recently, it has begun to handle ordinals inscriptions and BRC-20 tokens, which were created earlier this year and garnered popularity. In the future, Xverse intends to enable the Bitcoin Lightning Network, which facilitates quicker and less expensive transactions.
