Crypto Whale Makes a Splash: Deposits 2 Million $IMX to Kraken After Impressive 35% Surge
Crypto News – In a notable development today, a significant crypto investor, often referred to as a ‘whale,’ has made a substantial deposit of 2 million $IMX (equivalent to $1.37 million) into Kraken. This move comes on the heels of an impressive 35% surge in the price of $IMX, further underlining the investor’s strategic timing.
Since March 13, this whale has been steadily accumulating $IMX tokens, amassing a total of 4.5 million $IMX (approximately $3.16 million) from transactions carried out on Coinbase and FalconX up to September 12. The continued accumulation showcases the whale’s influence and position within the crypto market. As of now, they still possess 2.5 million $IMX, valued at around $1.79 million.
The surge in $IMX price was previously highlighted by Lookonchain, accentuating the growing accumulation of $IMX within Upbit wallets. This surge has also triggered a notable increase in deposits from both individual and institutional investors, further contributing to the positive momentum.
Specifically, Upbit has witnessed a significant accumulation of 12.53 million $IMX (approximately $9.45 million) in the past 3 hours. These funds were then transferred to wallet address “0x2F77,” which currently holds an impressive 20.4 million $IMX (equivalent to $15 million), securing its position as the 9th largest holder. Other noteworthy deposits have been reported, including 2 million $IMX ($1.52 million) from GSR into Binance and an additional 851,322 $IMX ($647,000) from Fund: 0x74c…441, also directed to Binance.
Furthermore, recent activity has seen three investors unlocking a total of 3.05 million $IMX (approximately $2.3 million) from the Foundation Treasury Locked wallet. This action potentially holds significance for the market and emphasizes the need for investors to stay informed and vigilant regarding $IMX trends and developments.
