Crypto News – The Ethereum Network is being used more and more frequently, according to recent data. Ethereum has even eclipsed Bitcoin in terms of the daily active address count.
Breaking News: Ethereum Daily Active Addresses Surpass 1 Million
Recent data from Artemis Terminal reveals a startling shift in the cryptocurrency market.
The BNB chain and Bitcoin (BTC) had fewer daily active addresses on September 13 than Ethereum did. To be more precise, Ethereum had 1.03 million daily active addresses compared to Bitcoin’s 743,800 and the BNB chain’s 1.02 addresses. The indicator spiked suddenly but then dropped down to its initial values.
Santiment Data Also Shows Increase
Market statistics provided by Santiment support this expansion. Santiment reports that 1,089,893 active Ethereum addresses were present as of September 13. The pinnacle was reached on December 9, 2022, making this the second-highest figure in Ethereum history.
Another accomplishment also illustrates the growing interest in Ethereum. A new record for the Ethereum network was set on September 13 with 1,627,860 transactions. In order to provide some context, the previous record was set on September 17, 2020, when there were roughly 1,406,000 transactions.
Ethereum is a major participant in the area of decentralized finance (DeFi) and the smart contract space, even though its price has dropped below $1,700. The chain’s market value is currently $196 billion. In the upcoming weeks, it is anticipated that the price of Ethereum will decrease even more, possibly approaching the next support level of around $1,550.
