Metal Core is a P2E project where players will fight for various rewards, whether alone or with their team, in a PvP and PvE experience.
Overview
Metal Core is a futuristic, free-to-play, third-person multiplayer shooter powered by massive machines, armored tanks and high-flying jets fighting for dominance over a large NFT-based planet. Metal Core is set in the mineral-rich Kerberos, ravaged by war between three powerful factions.
Gameplay
Players who are new to the Metal Core game start as a ground soldier against their enemies in PvE mode in an open world sandbox. When players gain experience up to Level 4 and reach level 4, they can participate in Faction Wars, a PvP mode, to take control of regions on the world map. There are three groups in Faction Battles, and players can join any of them. Players who are included in a faction receive bonuses when they win a battle between their faction and their opponents.
In group battles, players can summon war machines to gain superiority over their opponents. War machines ( machines, tanks, jets, etc.) has abilities suitable for its purpose on the battlefield. By participating in battles and winning battles, players can earn various vehicles.
Players who spend time in the Metal Core game get access to game systems such as a Garage where they can store and maintain their vehicles when they reach a certain level. The Garage acts as a central hub for driving and renting cars to other players within Metal Core.
In addition, players can join guilds called Baronies in the game. With Baronies, players can either team up in PvE challenges or participate in faction fighting as a team.
Game Mechanics
Game Modes
To begin with, Metal Core has classic FPS multiplayer game modes, namely Base Defense, Domination and Deathmatch modes, while war zones are combined into a single game mode.
The Baronial System
They are in-game guilds that allow players to act together in a coordinated way and win.
The Fraction System
Players can spend time and resources from one of the three factions in PVP to rank up.
Rebirths and Deaths
When players die while fighting in the game, they wait for a short time and then have to set a point on the map to be reborn. After the player’s life ends, the player is disconnected from the war zones and must re-queue to rejoin the battle.
Vehicle Damage and Repair
Vehicles in the Metal Core game can be damaged. The resistance of the vehicles to damage differs according to their types. If a vehicle is destroyed, the player can survive and continue the fight as an infantryman or ride on other designated vehicles as a shooter. In the game, players cannot hijack other players’ vehicles. Players who want to create or summon a new vehicle can use the vehicles they have created by visiting the respawn point. Players are able to repair a damaged vehicle in the repair zone by driving away from the combat zone.
Battle Lengths
While a typical battle zone match can take up to an hour, it can take much shorter depending on the player’s skill level, etc.
Victory Rules
While each battle zone within Metal Core has the same rules for victory, their layouts can differ.
