What is Spider Tanks?
Spider Tanks is a battle game in which players fight each other with Spider Tanks in various arenas. Spider Tanks is completely free to play and is supported on PC/Mac. The game is based on the fact that tanks, which generally consist of a hull and a weapon, are arranged according to certain strategies and fought in the arena.
Game Content
To play the Spider Tanks game, you must first visit the Gala games website. After downloading the game from Gala games and installing it on your computer, you can start playing. The game does not require any upfront fees so it is a free to play game. At the first start of the game, you need to use the free tanks and weapons provided by the game itself. Free tanks cannot be sold or improved. The game is a skill-based game as it is a PvP battle game. Before moving on to the tanks in the game and their features, let’s find out the game modes in which we can fight these tanks.
Game Modes
There are 3 different game modes in Spider Tanks game. These are;
Team Deathmatch: It is the game mode in which players fight against each other as a team. The team with the most kills at the end of the specified playing time wins.
Capture the Flag: It is the game mode in which teams try to capture the flags located on their bases.
Capture the Chicken: It is the game mode in which teams try to catch chickens on the move. The one who catches the most chickens wins.
Tanks
In the game, tanks are divided into tank body and tank weapon. Before joining the battle in the above-mentioned game modes, you need to organize your tank. Each tank body and tank gun are actually an NFT. The adjustments and improvements you will make to your tank may affect your game strategy and skill. That is why tank design is very important. Tanks and tank components have different characteristics.
Apart from the free tanks, you can buy other tanks from the OpenSea and Gala games NFT marketplaces. Purchases are made with the $GALA token.
Another feature of the tanks is that the tank parts can be upgraded. Each tank part has a rarity level. The level of rarity can affect the cost of upgrading tank parts. Upgrading the tank parts increases the power of the tank. The level of rarity of tank parts is as follows;
- Common – Bolts
- Uncommon – Scrap Metal
- Rare – Chips
- Epic – Hydraulics
- Legendary – Engine
- Ancient – Energy Core
The tank body characteristics are as follows;
- Armor: The amount of damage you can take before your Tank is a pile of rubble
- Speed: How fast your Tank moves
- Energy: How fast your Tank gains Energy to use Abilities
Tokenomics
NFT trading on the game is carried out with ETH and GALA tokens. The utility token of the Spider Tanks game will be the $SILK (ERC-20) token. SILK token distribution has not been published yet.
