Maniac Panda Games has announced three major milestones on the roadmap for their highly anticipated video game, Outer Ring MMO.
Outer Ring MMO: Pre-Alpha Early Access Unveils Three Gameplay Windows and Exciting Features
The game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is set to offer a revamped look and gameplay experience. To provide players with a broader and more exciting experience, the developers have incorporated two additional gameplay windows in addition to the initial Early Access Pre-Alpha launch on June 28th.
Three New Gameplay Windows
The three gameplay windows are as follows: Window 1 will run from June 28th to July 11th, Window 2 from July 12th to July 25th, and Window 3 will commence on July 26th and continue indefinitely. However, Outer Ring reserves the right to temporarily pause game access during this Pre-Alpha Early Access period to address any technical issues and make necessary improvements.
During these gameplay windows, players will have the opportunity to explore the planet Fanet and the iconic Great Silver City, the main hub of the game’s metaverse. Five playable species will be available for testing: Va’ans, Scavengons, Oracles, Mechs, and Earthlings. Players can engage in combat, embark on missions, and experience the thrill of exploration in this Early Access Pre-Alpha phase.
What Will Early Access Provide?
Two PvP scenarios and one PvE scenario will provide thrilling battles where players can test their skills using futuristic weapons like assault rifles and pistols, each with unique abilities. The ever-evolving Great Silver City offers a dynamic environment to explore and interact with other players online. Additionally, Early Access allows players to catch a glimpse of the metaverse, as Outer Ring‘s partners and collaborators have already constructed their infrastructures within the city.
Blink Galaxy
An exciting development accompanying the game’s release is the launch of Blink Galaxy, a digital distribution platform created by Nexxyo Labs. Outer Ring will be the first video game released through Blink Galaxy, which also serves as a bridge between video games and web3 technology.
Players will need to register on Blink Galaxy, providing personal information and a wallet address. However, not all users will gain access to the Early Access Pre-Alpha version of the game. They must either own at least one Outer Ring NFT obtained through Lootboxes or the in-game Marketplace, or possess a minimum of 100,000 Galactic Quadrant tokens.
What is Galactic Quadrant?
Galactic Quadrant, the central element of Outer Ring’s open economy, will be officially integrated into the Early Access Pre-Alpha on July 12th. Players who own Galactic Quadrant tokens will be able to utilize them in epic battles within the arena combat.
Potential Problems in Pre-Alpha
It is important to note that, as a Pre-Alpha release, the game may experience occasional crashes and technical issues. While the developers will be working diligently to address these issues, players should understand that this is a normal part of any Pre-Alpha stage game. Outer Ring values player feedback and appreciates their patience as they strive to improve the game based on user experiences.
