Trump-Musk X Space Session: Why Was Bitcoin Not Mentioned in Recent Discussions?
In an interview with X CEO Elon Musk on Monday night, former president Donald Trump did not mention Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. The extensive two-hour discussion touched on a wide range of subjects, such as global warming, artificial intelligence, illegal immigration, and economics. According to Musk, there was a massive attack on X that caused the interview, which drew in over a million listeners, to be delayed for more than 45 minutes.

The Verge published a piece casting doubt on this, citing an anonymous source who said that there was a 99 percent chance Musk was lying about the attack. While X Spaces was experiencing international disruptions, an alert from cybersecurity watchdog group Netblocks did not confirm if the outage was caused by a denial-of-service assault.
Trump’s Interview: Bettors Earn Over $1 Million on Polymarket Predictions
With nearly $600,000 wagered on the subject, bookmakers on Polymarket were offering a 65 percent chance of crypto being mentioned during the interview. In addition, a second market was formed by the prediction market to inquire about the likelihood that Bitcoin would be noted. This market peaked at 69%, with nearly $330,000 on the line. Bettors had wagered more than $250,000 on Trump using Tesla, with a top percentage of 79%. All the same, Trump avoided using the term by referring to Musk’s electric car company as “your cars.”
- Additional terms that were passed over by bettors and eventually mentioned by Trump on X Space were “MAGA,” “illegal immigrant,” and “tampon.”
- A user going by the moniker Bama1234 won well over $1 million after correctly predicting most of the terms that Trump used or did not use throughout the interview.
