Gaming technology company Razer is tapping into Web3 and setting up an investment fund to support blockchain-based games and developers. The fund, dubbed zVentures Web3 Incubator, will use its experience to develop early-stage projects that build blockchain-based gaming infrastructure.
Gaming Tech Company Razer Introduces Web3 Venture Fund
This fund, called zVentures Web3 Incubator (ZW3I), will identify and invest in promising early-stage Web3 game projects. With its experience and network, it will focus on enhancing the gaming experience with games that are fun, have a solid roadmap, and are backed by a respected team. Lawrence Lin, blockchain director at Razer, said in a press release that the zW3I will not only support new projects, but also pave the way for mass adoption in the broader gaming industry.
“The gaming experience is the most important aspect of any successful game launch. With blockchain technologies and support from companies with strong gaming knowledge, we are certain that Web3 will revolutionize this experience for all.” – said Lin.
