DAF Jam was founded by university communities in different cities in Turkey to raise awareness about natural disasters. It is basically a Game JAM and aims to bring together young talents who are interested in the entertainment industry or game development.
DAF JAM: A Game Development Hackathon
The community, established to raise social awareness about natural disasters, will organize a Game Jam on March 24-25-26. Bringing together eight different university communities, this event will address issues related to natural disasters in depth. In this direction, an environment will be provided for the development of original games that include topics such as hope, unity, cooperation, and solidarity.
What is the Goal of DAF Jam?
The community, which declares that they will deliver the donations to be made during the Jam to the earthquake regions as their first goal, wants to create disaster awareness among the participants of the Jam as a secondary goal. In this direction, it plans to impose feelings such as solidarity and unity on people.
What Can You Do to Support DAF Jam?
DAF Jam explained that there are many things you can do to support them. For example, you can donate money for the earthquake zone or send supplies to the earthquake zone.
