Trump Family Doubles Down on Bitcoin – At the Bitcoin Conference 2025, held this week in Miami, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr delivered highly anticipated speeches that electrified the crypto community. The sons of former President Donald J. Trump, who is currently running for office again, expressed strong support for Bitcoin and broader cryptocurrency adoption in the United States.

Eric Trump: “America Will Win the Crypto Revolution”

Eric Trump declared that the U.S. is poised to lead the crypto revolution, citing what he described as the emergence of a confident leader in the White House who stands “100% behind this industry.” He took aim at the traditional banking system, stating:

“Watching some of the big banks collapse would honestly make me happy.”

He criticized the outdated SWIFT system, pointing to how people still wait for wire transfers on a Friday at 5 p.m., while cryptocurrency offers faster and more transparent alternatives. According to him, the financial system is “broken,” and crypto has arrived just in time to solve these fundamental issues.

Perhaps most notably, Eric Trump claimed:

“My father is a full-on Bitcoin maximalist.”

He ended his speech with a bold prediction: Bitcoin will reach at least $170,000 within a year.

Donald Trump Jr: “Crypto Is the Future of Finance”

Following his brother, Donald Trump Jr emphasized long-term support for the crypto sector, stating:

“We didn’t just throw around slogans—we’ve taken real action.”

He argued that financial democratization can only happen through blockchain technology, not through legacy banking. He encouraged participation at any investment level:

“You don’t need $100,000 to invest in Bitcoin. Buy what you can.”

Trump Jr dismissed long-standing claims that “Bitcoin is too expensive”, reminding the audience that such claims existed when Bitcoin was at $1,000, $10,000, and $50,000.

His price forecast for BTC? Between $150,000 and $175,000 by this time next year.
