Retail investors may have new access to asset types that have historically been closed to them due to tokenization. The general manager and senior vice president of Robinhood Crypto, Johann Kerbrat, says that this development is crucial for financial inclusion. Only about 10% of Americans have access to some real-world assets, such as private equity and real estate, according to Kerbrat, who was speaking at the Consensus 2025 conference in Toronto.

Dollar-pegged stablecoins are the most common type of stablecoin, according to DeFiLlama. 87.1% of the $243.3 billion stablecoin market cap, or $211.8 billion, is held by the two biggest, Tether’s USDt and Circle’s USDC.

If you’re trying to move funds from the US to Singapore, maybe you will use a specific stablecoin. The shift is going to go from just stablecoin to platforms that are managing all these stablecoins.
