MetaMetaverse, a well-known metaverse platform, announced that it had changed its name to MultiversalME, in line with the company’s policy on multiversal interoperability.
MetaMetaverse Rebrands to MultiversalME
The decision to rebrand comes from the company’s mission to transform the popularity of the metaverse from a unidirectional to a multiversal platform. The company has created a new website dedicated to the new name. The content of this website is currently in closed alpha mode, and the new website is designed to be more vibrant, more useful, and appealing to a wider audience. Joel Dietz said:
“We’re excited to embark on this new chapter as MultiversalME and look forward to continuing to provide an outstanding experience for metaverse travelers, explorers, gamers, and builders that decide to create their metaverse within our cosmic system, We are confident that our new brand will help us attract new customers who share our passion for multiversal travel and creativity.”
According to Joel Dietz, the company’s CEO, all metaverse users should discover the multiversal metaverse. In line with this vision, the company has come up with a brand-new slogan, proving how serious they are about its goal. The company’s new motto is “Escape the Limits of Reality”. The platform plans to have a multiversal structure where players can interact with different metaverse.
Metaverse Meets Blockchain
With the rise of distributed ledger technology, VR, and blockchain, the metaverse movement is growing in popularity. In addition to the steps taken by platforms like MultiversalME to improve the metaverse, many companies have started to move towards the metaverse.
Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Facebook, changed the name of the company to Meta. He then announced a new metaverse project called Meta Horizon. However, Meta Horizon did not get the expected engagement.
