Web3 game discovery and wallet application Glip achieved a total of 7 million downloads and raised $2.5 Million in funding!

About The Investment

This startup, Based in India, is a global web3 game discovery & wallet application. The company had organized a financing round in the days we left behind. Glip announced that it has raised $2.5 million in funding in a funding round led by Hashed Emergent and with the participation of Beenext and Prime Venture Partners.

Today, that project is a platform that has more than 2 million active users. Although it is headquartered in India, it has a global audience. Designed in parallel with the vision of Web3, Glip’s application has managed to bring people around the world together. 

Special Distribution Platform

In addition, Glip continues to register for Web3 games such as Axie Infinity, League of Kingdoms, and KOF Arena by Netmarble to increase user participation and earnings. The startup is building a special distribution platform for Wrb3 game projects that are more quality gaming experience and sustainable day by day.

Currently there are two major challenges in Web3 gaming – lack of distribution channels and complex user onboarding. The team at Glip has built a seamless platform to solve for both. We are impressed by the team’s agility, foresight and speed of execution, and are excited to partner with them on their journey to build the “Steam” equivalent for Web3 games.”

Strong Growth

With strong growth, this startup is the largest Web3 application for gamers in India. It is stated that Glip’s mobile application has been downloaded more than 7 million times in India, Southeast Asia and Brazil. Users can discover games, watch trainings and participate in tournaments in the application, where they find everything they need. Additionally, as soon as users log in to the app, they actually have a socially signed, unattended, multi-chain, gasless wallet. 

Glip CEO and Founder Parth Choudhary adds: “With $10B already deployed, web3 games are increasing rapidly and getting better by the day, but they are all struggling with user acquisition on Web2 platforms. Our mission is to build the world’s largest web3 gamer platform.”

Glip COO and Founder Ishan Shrivastava comments: “We have a pipeline of 100+ games across the world including top publishers. They are all excited by web3 adoption in emerging markets & will soon get a self-serve dashboard to run campaigns, get user feedback & analytics. Glip will soon cross 100K monthly active web3 gamers.”
