Unstoppable Domains is partnering with the digital avatar creation platform Ready Player Me to make digital identities common across the metaverse. The Ready Player Me platform allows users to create avatars on various metaverse platforms such as Spatial and Somnium Space. The collaboration with Unstoppable will bring a lot of benefits to its users.

What Benefits Users Will Get?

The collaboration with Unstoppable Domains will allow avatars to be used as profile pictures. Users can easily connect to an existing Ready Player Me account or upload their own photos to create an avatar that looks like them.

Users who link their avatars to their Unstoppable identities will have access to more than 6,000 Ready Player Me apps, games, and metaverse in addition to Unstoppable’s 650 apps. Sandy Carter, vice president of Unstoppable Domains, told CoinDesk that adding Ready Player Me’s avatars to a user’s profile not only strengthens their digital identity but also provides expanded access to Web3 technologies.

She further explained: “Your Unstoppable profile is the center of your digital identity. With it being used in common, you can imagine your avatar becoming the center of your visual identity in all your favorite metaverse.”

Ready Player Me is also enthusiastic about the shared use of avatars.

Timmu Toke, CEO of Ready Player Me, told CoinDesk: “Through our collaboration with Unstoppable, our users can now query Web3 domains and extend their digital identities beyond metaverse platforms. They will also be able to take advantage of all the features Unstoppable offers, creating a single place to present their digital identity.”

Last year, Unstoppable Domains expanded its product group to make Web3 identities accessible and shared. In August, the company developed a mobile app to facilitate access to wallets, dapps, and metaverse. In December, the company introduced Etherescan and Polyscan, which allow users to search for Unstoppable domain addresses in blockchain data scanners.
