Rishi Ramchandani has parted ways with BlockFi to work as the APAC Web3 Leader at Google.
Google’s APAC Web3 Division Will Be Headed By a Former BlockFi Manager
Ramchandani recently shared on LinkedIn that he is eager to start his new role at the global technology company. He stated that it will be a key goal of advancing Google‘s Web3 initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region. In short, Ramchandani is quite eager to lead Google Cloud‘s APAC work on Web3.
What is Google Cloud?
Google Cloud has already revealed its intention to integrate deeply into the Web3 ecosystem by enabling developers to create and use applications based on blockchain technology. In addition, Google has built a brand new team to assist and facilitate developers’ field research operations. More information about the change was given by Google Cloud Vice President Amit Zavery with the following statement:
“We’re not trying to be part of that cryptocurrency wave directly. We’re providing technologies for companies to use and take advantage of the distributed nature of Web3 in their current businesses and enterprises.”
