Polemos is a GameFi Platform that aims to improve employment and education worldwide by developing a global GameFi platform that generates investment and wealth in NFT games and other related blockchain technologies.
Overview
Polemos is a GameFi ecosystem dedicated to integrating as many people as possible into the metaverse world, bringing together digital asset providers and gamers globally. Founded on the belief that the gaming industry is moving towards one of the biggest revolutions in its history, platform is on this path as one of the leading DAO in the world.
This GameFi ecosystem, which has a specially created business model, tokenomics structure and metaverse, was founded by Sascha Zehe and Richard Mclaren.
Structure and Management
The structure of Polemos includes two formations. These are Boule and Ecclesia. Boule is an operational service formation, while Ecclesia is a community governance formation. Both of them serve their own different purposes.
Boule
Boule is responsible for the day-to-day operations of platform, including maintaining its assets and growing the protocol. It also retains delegated rights over various decisions related to these tasks, such as hiring Key Contributors, setting salaries, providing liquidity to exchanges, and more.
Ecclesia
Ecclesia is the inclusive governance entity managed by the Polemos Token (PLMS). The decision-making powers of the Ecclesia can be exercised by submitting Polemos Improvement Proposals (PIPS), which will be subjected to two different votes: one by the DAO in general and the other by the Archons.
Archons
A total of seven Archons will act as a decentralized security stop for the protocol. Two of these seats are appointed by Boule to provide the following:
- The people with the most insight and experience have a say in Archon discussions, assuming they will be responsible for implementing the approved proposals; and
- in general, Archon discussions are informed by open communication and insights from the wider team, as without this the progress of certain initiatives can be completely blocked.
The remaining five seats are filled by elected representatives from the DAO as a whole.
Business Model
The business model provides a vibrant ecosystem powered by Asset/Liquidity providers, powered by players, developed by gaming partners, and designed to benefit everyone, including the DAO itself. The detailed table of the business model is as follows.
The Honor System
It is a system developed in the guild for people to be an active part of the community. There are incentives for people to be even more active here.
The Honor system unlocks additional educational content within Polemos University and is also directly linked to the payment of the bonus return from the co-games vault. In this way, players will be able to earn even more rewards in the Honor System ranking while playing games supported by Polemos through a partnership that includes PLMS as an in-game yield. Metaverse Expansion
Metaverse Expansion is the division of Polemos that focuses on researching, investing and developing new games for Polemes DAO. In order for players to have a successful gaming experience, Polemos has set a number of criteria for the games being researched. These criteria include but are not limited to:
- Identification of new games coming to market that May fit the business model,
- Detailed due diligence of new games with respect to game design, strategy, and project liquidity,
- Investment in new games where the game is identified to be strategic to Polemos,
- Acquisition of foundation assets in new games for Polemos to develop a sufficient asset base for Polemos members to comment gameplay and/or to undertake game testing.
The Metaverse expansion activities will be funded by Partners Games Vault and Polemos Vault.
Polemos Universe
It is Polemos‘ own fantasy universe. Information about this universe and regular content updates are shared with the community from the encyclopedia available on the official website of Polemos. With this comprehensive universe, Platform has created an important differentiator that will attract the attention of people from inside and outside the crypto world, as well as provide various opportunities to increase the participation of its members.
Avatars
The Avatar project starts with a mint process that will allow participants to acquire their own character(s) based on the existing list of iconic heroes. Although there is no limit on the number of characters that a single wallet can mint, the minted characters will not be restricted in terms of time either.
Polemos Esports Center
Competitive games are prioritized in Platform. DAO supports the adoption of esports in the Play to Earn space by hosting regular championships, leagues and more. Tournaments that everyone can participate in can be entered free of charge or through the buy-in system that requires Polemus tokens.
The Illuvium Championship will be the first tournament on a monthly basis in ranked arena play. This tournament will be determined through a team qualifying round to determine the top 16.
Tokenomics
As of the date of writing, the Polemus Token, which is the token of this ecosystem, has not been listed yet, although it is seen as listed on the roadmap. The reason for this, according to the project managers, is that the current market conditions are much worse than expected. The supply of Polemus Token (PLMS) is 1,000,000,000 and the token distribution is as shown below.

As we mentioned in the tokenomics section of our article, token activities were postponed for a while by the project’s team due to the poor crypto currency market.
