Ethereum Price– Ethereum (ETH) recently fell below the key $1,500 support level, raising concerns about a potential deeper correction. Several on-chain and market indicators now suggest that ETH could face continued selling pressure before any meaningful recovery begins.

According to CryptoQuant analyst theKriptolik, ETH has dropped below its realized price—a metric that reflects the average price at which each coin was last moved. Historically, when the spot price falls below this metric, it often triggers panic selling.

Drops below the realized price often mark the capitulation phase, where investors lose confidence and begin selling en masse.

This pattern was previously seen in June and November 2022, ahead of significant price drops during the Terra Luna and FTX collapses. The current setup echoes those past corrections, hinting at potential downside risks.

ETF Outflows Reflect Weak Institutional Sentiment

Investor interest in spot Ethereum ETFs continues to decline. Over $94 million in outflows have been recorded in the last two weeks, with just $13 million in inflows. CoinShares data highlights a broader bearish sentiment across ETH-related investment products, reinforcing current market pessimism.

Open interest in Ethereum (ETH) futures has dropped significantly to $16.7 billion, nearly 50% lower than its January peak. Combined with negative funding rates, this indicates bearish sentiment and limited speculative demand.
