DeFi Protocol Frontier Launches Frontier Wallet Extension for Ethereum, Solana and 33 Other Blockchains | CoinMarketCap

DeFi protocol Frontier brings in-browser wallet support for Aptos, Sui, and 33 additional blockchains. With this new feature, users can use the in-browser cold wallet to buy cryptocurrencies, send NFTs, and perform many other transactions on 35 blockchains.

What Benefits It Will Bring?

The new wallet allows users to access any decentralized application in one place instead of switching between different applications. In addition, the wallet supports Aptos and Sui blockchains, which have been gaining attention in the crypto community in the last few months.

Frontier said it has a security feature that detects fraud attacks to keep users safe. According to statistics, the wallet is used by one million users. Unlike Frontier, other popular cold wallets such as MetaMask and Zerion do not offer in-browser wallet services.

A Frontier representative told CoinDesk that the team is building APIs, software that allows programs for Cosmos, Solana, Near, and other networks to communicate with each other.

In addition, a Frontier representative said: “MetaMask focuses on MetaMask institutions and not on non-EVM chains at all. However, it is still missing a feature where users can access NFTs and interact with DeFi in one place.”
