Crypto News – On the last day, long liquidations of Bitcoin reached about $40 million, while the price fell to a weekly low of slightly over $64,000.
BTC Price Plunge: Bitcoin Long Liquidations Hit $40 Million
Out of a total of $45 million in liquidated BTC holdings, Coinglass data shows that approximately $39 million in long Bitcoin liquidations occurred in the last 24 hours. Nearly the previous day, there were almost $212 million in liquidations in the larger cryptocurrency market.
Despite dropping more than 3.6% in the last day, Bitcoin is currently hovering just above $64,000, according to The Block’s Price Page. According to data from The Block, Ether had a 3.5% decline to $3,137 over that time.
BlackRock’s ETF Sees No Inflows for the First Time
On Wednesday, transactions from other spot bitcoin ETFs either stopped or decreased, while inflows from Grayscale’s converted GBTC fund saw $130.42 million in withdrawals. The same day, zero flows were reported by eight additional funds, including Bitwise’s BITB and BlackRock’s IBIT.
After a 71-day run of inflows into its fund, BlackRock’s ETF saw its first day without inflows. According to SoSoValue data, on Wednesday, the only two ETFs that experienced inflows were Fidelity’s FBTC and the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, with $5.65 million and $4.2 million, respectively.
