Crypto Majors Flat- Options Market Points to Bullish Bitcoin Move

Crypto Majors FlatBitcoin (BTC) traded above $93,000 in Asian morning hours on Friday, maintaining strength after earlier-week gains and brief profit-taking. Despite a quieter 24-hour movement among major cryptocurrencies, traders remain optimistic about Bitcoin’s near-term potential.

“With BTC holding firmly above $90K, sentiment is becoming increasingly optimistic,” said QCP Capital in a Telegram broadcast. The firm noted a surge in call option activity at $95,000 strike prices for end-April and end-May expirations — a sign that traders expect further upside. These call options give investors the right to buy BTC at a specific price, suggesting growing interest in potential breakouts.

While macroeconomic risks appear subdued and global trade tensions ease, analysts believe BTC may continue consolidating between $90,000 and $94,500 before attempting a push toward the $100,000 level. QCP Capital added, “BTC is likely to consolidate in a narrow $90K–$94.5K range while awaiting a decisive push toward the elusive $100K mark,” while emphasizing a cautious outlook influenced by broader market factors.

Altcoins Mixed, SUI Network Surges

Among major altcoins, XRP and BNB remained stable, while Solana (SOL) posted a 2% increase. Dogecoin (DOGE) and Cardano (ADA) each jumped more than 4%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) gained 5%. The CoinDesk 20 Index rose by 1.2%, reflecting modest market-wide growth.

Meanwhile, Sui Network’s SUI continued its strong rally, now up over 62% for the week. Key drivers include xPortal’s upcoming Mastercard-backed payment card and rising investor interest. Data from DefiLlama shows SUI’s total value locked (TVL) surpassed $1.6 billion, with a 35% increase in trading volume on its decentralized exchange over the past week.
