Binance Launches 200M HOME Token Airdrop: Here’s the Catch
Binance has revealed the DeFi App (HOME), the 22nd project in its HODLers rewards program. For BNB holders who have previously used Simple Earn or other on-chain yield programs, the airdrop will award 200 million HOME tokens.
The airdrop is applicable to anyone who engaged with yield items on Binance between June 6 and June 9 and is retroactive. Following the start of distribution on June 12, the cryptocurrency will move from Binance Alpha to the primary exchange.
Cross-Chain Simplicity: HOME Token Pushes Gasless DeFi Without Bridges
As to the developers, the HOME token, which is also referred to as the DeFi App, aims to increase accessibility to decentralized financing. It does not rely on cross-chain bridges and offers gasless transactions across several blockchains. Full user custody over tokens is another claim made by the project. On June 10, DeFi App announced that since its introduction, it had amassed almost 400,000 users and processed $15 billion in trading activity.
Binance Wallet Usage Soars Past MetaMask Due to Airdrop Incentives
As part of the Binance HODLer Airdrops program, active users can now get incentives based on their BNB (BNB) balances. In particular, users are immediately eligible for the airdrops if they subscribe their BNB to Simple Earn.
The campaign has been positioned by Binance as a means of gaining new users. Data indicates that the number of users using the Binance wallet has lately overtaken that of MetaMask and OKX; some analysts ascribe this trend to the Alpha rewards plan.
