Binance Coin’s Liquidity and Demand Signal Market Confidence
Binance Coin (BNB) has demonstrated remarkable liquidity and price strength compared to many other high-cap cryptocurrencies. While most leading assets remain at least 40% below their all-time highs (ATHs), BNB’s price is currently just 17% shy of its peak. This resilience is noteworthy, especially considering that during last year’s “Trump pump” cycle, only BNB and Solana (SOL) managed to set new highs among major altcoins.
Unlike Solana, which remains 47% below its ATH, BNB’s smaller gap indicates robust market support. As AMBCrypto reports, “BNB’s fundamentals have been rock solid,” supported by steady demand and a healthy on-chain ecosystem. Total Value Locked (TVL) in Binance Smart Chain recently hit a three-year high above $6 billion, and stablecoin supply is at a two-year peak — signs of ample capital ready to fuel growth.
Technical Strength Backed by Tokenomics

BNB has surpassed its previous ATH of nearly $700 twice in 2024, reaching a new high of $793 in December. Currently, it is within striking distance of retesting these levels. Derivatives liquidity remains balanced, avoiding overheating, while a significant portion of BNB tokens are locked in staking, reducing circulating supply.
This supply scarcity is further enhanced by Binance’s token burn program. Beginning with 200 million tokens, Binance aims to reduce this to 100 million through periodic burns destroying hundreds of millions of dollars worth of BNB. Over 60 million tokens have already been burned, leaving around 140 million in circulation. Combined with staked tokens, the effective circulating supply is even lower.
This combination of capped supply, regular burns, and locked tokens underpins BNB’s price stability and long-term potential. As a result, Binance Coin continues to defy broader altcoin downtrends and steadily moves closer to reclaiming its all-time highs.
