Bankrbot Blocks Grok After Ai Creates Millions In Meme Coins

The developers of Bankrbot, a popular bot that enables X users to launch meme coins directly from the platform, have adjusted their system. They have specifically modified it to stop responding to commands from Grok, an AI model developed by Elon Musk’s xAI. The creation of 17 tokens by Grok was the main reason for this adjustment. The best-known of these, DRB, has reached a market capitalization of over $40 million and is currently trading at around $18 million.

The problem started in early March when a user named @coin_domin asked Grok on X for a recommendation for a token name for Bankrbot. Grok responded by proposing the development of “DebtReliefBot” or DRB, and Bankrbot complied by issuing the token via the Base blockchain’s autonomous token distribution mechanism, Clanker. As part of this deployment, a liquidity pool was established utilizing the Clanker protocol, usually on Uniswap DEX on Base. One characteristic of Bankrbot’s architecture is that when a user interacts with the bot directly for the first time, a unique wallet address on Base is immediately established for them.

Grok’s Meme Coin Craze Stopped: Why Bankrbot Pulled the Plug?

At first, each account had to have 5 million Bankr tokens in order to generate new tokens. However, this condition has subsequently been lifted. There weren’t enough Bankr tokens in Grok’s wallet when he suggested that the Bankrbot launch the token. The DRB token was deployed after a member of the Bankrbot community sent the necessary tokens to Grok’s associated wallet.

Grok‘s popularity and willingness to recommend token names prompted additional deployments. Users instructed it to introduce 16 additional tokens in an attempt to capitalize on the alleged Grok brand. Thus, in accordance with Grok’s recommendations, fresh tokens were generated by Bankrbot and deployed on Clanker.

Bankrbot’s anonymous creator, Deployer, predicted that the wallet would soon become a billionaire. However, Deployer has chosen to cut off the response mechanism to Grok’s orders because of worries about Grok’s capacity to properly manage its own wallet and protect funds.

We’ve made it so Bankr no longer responds to Grok on X. Grok was not built to responsibly manage its own wallet and safeguard its funds,
