Moca Network: A Privacy-Focused Architecture for Digital Identity and IP Ecosystems
Kenneth Shek, Moca Network’s Project Manager, detailed the company’s core business lines:
“Our company has two main business lines. The first is digital identity infrastructure. In this area, we have two fundamental products: Moca Chain, which is used for verifying identity data, and AirKit SDK, which simplifies integration with the chain.
On the other side, our Multiverse brand operates in the NFT and IP (Moca ID) space. We recently announced that we will be working more closely with the Cool Cats team on the IP and distribution side.”
Shek stressed that Moca Network places privacy at the center of its entire design and development process:
“Data is encrypted only with the user’s private key. Verifications are performed using zero-knowledge proof, meaning verification occurs without the raw data ever being exposed.
This approach enables users to perform identity verification without having to share sensitive data like age or financial information.”
Identity as the New Loyalty Tool
Moca Network positions the element of identity at the core of the relationship between brands and users. Schabhüttl summarized the company’s fundamental mission: “Starbucks is fundamentally an identity brand. People are loyal to the brand, not the coffee. They earn points, receive rewards, and become part of the experience. As Moca, we are bringing this loyalty concept to the digital world.”
Moca Network develops infrastructures that enable users to verify their identity data based on privacy principles. This approach allows identity and loyalty systems to securely converge within digital applications.
“We are Working with Legal Experts for Local Compliance in Türkiye”
Kenneth Shek stated that Türkiye holds strong regional potential in digital identity and data privacy. He mentioned that the company is collaborating with local experts to ensure compliance with Turkish law and regulations: “We are working with local lawyers and regulators on data privacy. We are clarifying definitions such as who is the data processor and who is the data controller in Türkiye, and we are obtaining legal opinions from third parties.”
Secure and Accessible Infrastructures
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) plays a key role in the company’s growth strategy. Schabhüttl explained the region’s business-friendly approach: “The UAE has a regulatory structure that supports technology companies setting up business. Instant and low-cost solutions can be offered, especially for financial transactions.” With this approach, Moca Network prioritizes user security in many areas, from global money transfers to digital identity verification.
Greater Collaboration with Brands in Türkiye
Schabhüttl also dedicated a special focus to the Turkish market, highlighting its potential: “The Moca Türkiye community is fantastic. People are passionate, energetic, and open to innovation. Moreover, businesses in Türkiye are already accustomed to loyalty and identity systems.”
According to Schabhüttl, Türkiye can become an important hub not only for users but also for the developer ecosystem. The company’s Web3 identity solutions aim to help Web2 businesses overcome legal restrictions they face with products like tokens or NFTs.
“We recently announced our partnership with Oyunfor, but that’s just the beginning. We want to work with more brands in Türkiye,” Schabhüttl concluded.
Türkiye Can Be a Regional Innovation Hub
Moca Network is positioning Türkiye not just as a market but as a center for regional growth and innovation. Schabhüttl wrapped up by saying, “There is a very strong developer potential here. If we do everything right, we will be coming to Istanbul much more frequently.”
The company is expected to expand both its user base and its developer ecosystem through its Türkiye office in the coming period. Moca Network aims to add a new identity layer to the Web2 and Web3 worlds at the intersection of digital identity and loyalty technologies.
